yep, kabonfootprint has landed Pontianak, oh i found another kabonfootprint in my city and also participate into this SEO Contest, he name is ardhi, also known as Ardhi Indie, I may not know him as well, just one time talk only with him in YM..

Fyi, Pontianak is city in Indonesia, and capital of the Indonesia province of West Borneo,  was founded around 1771 by Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie, with about 510.687 population in 2006, pontianak grow up as a multicultural city, native Indonesians are mainly Malay and Dayak people with Chinese as large minority and Javanese also a significant minorities.

Kapuas river – with approx 1,143 km, Kapuas river is longest river in Borneo Island and longest River in Indonesia, “if drink water from Kapuas river, you will come back to this city again” [myths].

Equator Monument - Pontianak also known as Equator City because Equator Line passes through this city located at 0°0′N, 109°20′E. First built by Astronomical Expedition Team from Dutch in 1928, rebuild by Opzicter Silaban in 1938, and now you can see five times bigger size than original has build to protect original monument..
